Canvas Learning
Canvas Learning is a globally recognised brand in eLearning and assessment, providing consultancy and solutions since 2002. Many of Can Studios products are enhanced by assessments, knowledge checks and content developed and delivered through the Canvas Learning platforms.
The Canvas Learning Player is distributed as a component of NetMedia's Primary and Secondary Learning Platforms and is now available to hundreds of schools across the UK.
Can Studios Produces a customised version of the Canvas Learning tools to allow Reuters to quickly produce staff assessments. By integrating a simple Excel spreadsheet into the standard work flow Reuters were able to author questions in a format they were familiar with. The Canvas Learning tools then export the results, including corporate branding, into standards conformant content packages for deployment in any Learning Management System. The standards based output has provided a significant ROI for Reuters as the materials have been migrated through a number of different LMS systems over the years.
In addition the Canvas Learning's support for a rich variety of media has made it the ideal platform for the deployment of learning materials as well as questions. As such it has been used as the underlying technology for many bespoke courses for the following organisations: Ufi / Learn Direct, Becta / nln, IMS Global Learning Consortium, The Environment Agency and the Highways Agency.
